CHIC-BOY

Let's go mainstream: Chic-Boy is finally in Marikina! Only a few months ago, we were so excited to see a poster of Chic-Boy beside Dencio's at the Riverbanks area that bore the magic words "Opening Soon". I was able to try dishes at Chic-Boy last August and this place instantly went to the top of my inasal places to go to. But what caught my heart at Chic-Boy was not their inasal, but their Cebu Lechon! (For those who are already fans, we know the code: CB6)

The dining area is biiiiig. Well, maybe they know that many Marikenyos are excited to finally taste their specialties without having to travel outside the city.

Their signature lechon sauce (In my opinion, the meat they serve is already flavorful you won't need it.)

All meals come with free soup. The bottomless iced tea is ONLY 25 PhP!

Sister ordered the chicken inasal (CB2, 99 PhP)

While the rest of us ordered CB6! (99 PhP) Cebu Lechon Liempo - really good, I tell 'ya!

Rice all you can is strictly enforced, hehe!

Another tasty discovery of the night: TURONES CON LECHE (30 PhP)! Deep fried banana rolls that come with a custard cream for dipping. Highly addictive.

They also serve excellent side dishes such as grilled eggplant with bagoong (30 PhP) and ensaladang mangga (25 PhP). There are also merienda meals like palabok (45 PhP) and dinuguan (48 PhP). Chic-Boy warrants your visit, don't you think? ;)

Thanks for coming to Marikina, Chic-Boy!!!
