We were back at Cafe Lidia last weekend after having dinner. After all, we weren't able to try out their talked-about cakes the last time we were there. See my first post on Cafe Lidia by clicking here.
More reasons to love Cafe Lidia? The cakes!!! They have so many cake variants available and so much dishes on their menu that I never wonder why we are always waiting for a table whenever we come here. The place is always full!
With their free wi-fi and bottomless drinks, and yummy desserts, you can chill with your family and friends while de-stressing. They serve great pizza and pasta too!

ReplyDeletemasarap nga yung marshmallow cake :) salamat Roni!
ReplyDeleteyes karla, and all the other cakes. :D thanks din for visiting!
ReplyDeleteI wanna go to Marikina but afraid I might get lost :( Im from Morayta, manila. :))
ReplyDeletehi Vann! kayang-kaya mo iyan! :) just take LRT purple line (the one running recto-santolan) and get off at Katipunan. Ang daming jeeps to Marikina from the station. tell me where you want to go so I can help you with the directions :)
ReplyDeletepaano pumunta sa resto na ito? O.o sasakay ba ako ng calumpang jeep o tricycle pa? I'm from Barangka
ReplyDeletehi! yup, Calumpang na jeep and baba ka sa pinakadulo ng route (sa Pasig-Marikina boundary). You can walk from there, it's Calderon street already, but you can also take the jeep Pasig-Marikina and get off at Cafe Lidia. :D
ReplyDeletehi! just wanna ask..after katipunan station, what jeep would i ride? i'm not familiar with the place kasi. thanks :-)
ReplyDeletehi Aurea, if you're coming from Katipunan, you can take Antipolo-bound jeepneys or FX and get off at Ligaya. At Ligaya (intersection), you can take jeeps that have "Marikina-Palengke" signs. They will take a U-turn along Marcos highway to enter the Marikina side. The jeep will then turn right to enter Marikina, then right again, that's Calderon street. Keep an eye to your right, that's where Cafe Lidia is. You can also tell the driver to let you off Cafe Lidia. :)
ReplyDeletei think its easier to just get off at santolan station instead of katipunan. then tawid na lang ng footbridge tapos onting lakad sa pila ng tricycle sa may Otto (before SM marikina). they should be able to take you to calderon street.
ReplyDeleteAwesome, thanks for the tip! I didn't know about the tricycles there, I don't pass that way often - and if I do I'm usually in a car. :D Thanks a bunch!! Your tip would definitely make travel time faster and less changes in transpo ;-)
ReplyDeleteActually the tricycle terminal in Otto is too far already.
ReplyDeleteClosest tricyle terminal would be at the back of Uratex & 7/11. I believe the fare would cost you P20. Hope this helps!
yes, that's really helpful information! :) thanks so much!!
ReplyDeleteUng cakes nila kaya masarap kc purple oven lahat un
ReplyDeletereally? i wasn't aware of that. i'll make sure to ask next time :) thanks! yes, the cakes are all really good :D
ReplyDeleteyup, all from purple oven. they have a branch sa pasig and makati. lots of choices.
ReplyDeleteeven in Makati? that's great :) the cakes they supply to Cafe Lidia are very good already, what more if we go to the actual branch. thanks! :)

This place is awesome. Freshly made pizza. Awesome cakes. Good burger. It's so hard to park and yet many people come here. 'Nuff said.
ReplyDeletethanks Ashley!
ReplyDeletethe interior of their second floor is pretty nice too ;-) i love their pizza and their cakes. ;-)
hi Roni. From Marikina palengke or OLA Church, san mas madali yung way to Cafe Lidia? planning to go to Cafe Lidia on thursday. i heared this Resto are always "matao", so its better to make reservation sa kanila.
ReplyDeletehi Vena!
ReplyDeleteIf commuting:
from OLA Church or Palengke, you can ride the Calumpang Jeep and ask Manong Driver to let you off near Calderon (where the boundary of Pasig-Marikina also stands) Then take the Marikina-Palengke jeepney from the corner and you will get off right in front of Cafe Lidia.
Or! You can take the tricycle to Cafe Lidia (I always opt for this when I don't drive, hihi)
As for reservations... I never made one (had to fall in line a bit), so to be sure maybe you can give them a ring. Better do so to avoid queuing. Cheers!
thanks Roni.... Cafe Lidia will be part of my special day on thursday. God bless.
ReplyDeleteawww! enjoy your special day Vena! ;-) God bless you with many more happy years!
ReplyDeleteHow to get here from Ligaya?
ReplyDeleteHow to commute going there from ligaya?
ReplyDeletehi Patricia! from Ligaya, take the Marikina-Palengke jeep and tell Manong Driver na ibaba ka sa Cafe Lidia along Calderon street. ;-)
