COCO FRESH TEA AND JUICE IS FINALLY IN THE PHILIPPINES!

During the TeamUp event, Larry Evans Tan, General Manager, walked us through the brand and its advocacies, and addressed all the questions that we had.

EHEM! As guest speaker, they invited Chris Everingham a Health Coach and a member of the Philippine Volcanoes to give health tips, and to discuss the benefits of drinking tea.

Bagay ba kami? Hehe! During the break, we got divided into groups to create our own drinks. How cool was that? Chris got assigned to our team! Yey!

BON DOYS CHICKEN

Another chicken place we discovered that is near our home sweet home is located right in the former Marikina Autoline garage: BON DOYS CHICKEN! Sis and I were thinking of having lunch at Blue Wave when we saw the Bon Doys sign pointing right into the big lot, which we followed and led us right into Bon Doys! (Sorry, no picture of the resto from outside, boo hoo me.)

We ordered the 4-piece Crispy Honey Garlic Bon Doy's Chicken (99 PhP). It was fried to crispy perfection, and it has its own unique flavor, I would say a twist for the Pinoy palate.

Cheesticks (59 PhP)

Creamy Carbonara (109 PhP) with long, thin bread sticks, which we loved chewing on as well

Four cheese pizza (109 PhP), this serves two to four persons

And our favorite dessert: FRIED OREOS a la mode forever! (69 PhP)

I am as plump as the chicken drumstick I'm holding, oh boy.

The thoughtful guy (I think it was the owner, or manager) offered to take our photo. Sweet!

MOMMA BROWN BAKERY AND CAFE

We recently discovered a nice place along Marcos Highway (if you're familiar with the area, this is beside Kanzhu Hand-Pulled Noodles), just before you reach the well-known Burger King branch. The Bakery-Cafe is MOMMA BROWN, and has been operating for only a few months.

Right after I placed our orders, we took photos of the place which was cozy, well-lit and spacious.

GREG & SALLY TREE GARDEN CAFE

Finally!

Weekends are best spent with your loved ones. I'd prefer lazy time at home with my family over malling or shopping any time. Last weekend was quite lovely, the cool gang had lunch at our latest discovery, Greg & Sally Tree Garden Cafe.

I remember the feeling when searching for Marikina's Butterfly Garden (World of Butterflies, now closed). Greg & Sally is tucked away in the Ipil street loop, right at the corner of Champaca street. They provide good directions on their Facebook page though ;-)

When we got to the place, I immediately took tons of pictures. I also got to meet one blog reader, Celine! :-) Too bad we didn't have our picture together. Maybe when she joins our next food tour, right, Celine? ;-)

 I loved this side dish of green mango and Philippine spinach (Talinum) that comes with the Gourmet Tinapa

After a hearty lunch, we took more pictures around the place, the cafe is very relaxing and very family-friendly. My baby Rence enjoyed it the most, I think! :-p
