BUBBA LAB

Concept. One big word for businesses! And I'm proud to say that foodie establishments in Marikina never run out of new ones. One of the PEXers, Pao, dropped by the FB page of All Over Marikina and suggested we check out Bubba Lab (Thanks Pao!).

This is how it should look like when you start looking for it around C&B Mall...

The "scien'tea'sts" are in! Cool! Let's go check it out!

The concept of Bubba Lab revolves on a chemistry lab feel (uh, not my favorite subject, haha) which we find it really cool! (Again, even though chemistry is not really my cup of tea, no pun intended.) Here's why:

Look at their menu! It's the periodic table of (tea) elements! Complete with descriptions and prices. Super cute!

 We dig the black-violet interiors!

Dear Bubba Lab management, could you please give me one of your scienteast shirts that says "Coffee, Juice, Tea, or Me?" at the back - pretty much what the scienteast in the photo is wearing, hehehe!

Oh yes, I remember those test tubes and flasks!

 Love it!

Look where they brew the tea!

Some samples, and yes, I sniffed all of them. Hehe!

Like I said we dig the interiors. That's Mom and Sis!

According to their Facebook page description:

"Wondering about the origin of our brand name Bubba Lab? We like the curiosity!

Bubba \ˈbə-bə\ is our slang term for 'bubbles'. The bubbles refer to the foam created by brewing, stirring, agitating & shaking of any of our drinks (tea.juice.coffee). Simply all the lab work!

The term "lab", is obviously is our own unique ambience. The lab is the right place for innovating & formulating products that can provide ‘eureka’ moments to everyone.

If it's Bubba Lab it must be scien’TEA’fically delicious! "

We ordered the Vanilla Milk Tea, Bubba Lab Tea and the Fuzzy Melon. Yummy!

 Mom ordered the Fuzzy Melon

Sis ordered the Vanilla Milk Tea

And this is me posing as they brew what had to be brewed.

Check out Bubba Lab when you are in the area, there are lots of eye candy inside the lab as you wait for the scienteasts to prepare your drink. Let me know about your experience!

You think my shirt is cool? Oh yes, it's a classic. Check out FrancisM Clothing here.

  13. Their concept reminds me of an Ice Cream Shop along Maginhawa St. It's called "The Iscreamist" naman. Now I can see the word play they did there. It's prolly The Ice Cream Chemist, right? Ganun din, they have the same "table of elements" jig for their menu, and when they serve you your ice cream, may mist pa.

Anyway, great post. Makes me wanna drop by in this tea room later. Do they serve cheesecake too?

    Love,
    Ahn
