PATIO VERA

Ta-dah! Another date place for you, Marikenyos! Well, actually, this restaurant we recently visited is not only great for dates but definitely perfect for family lunches or dinners, and of course a great venue where you can hang out with your friends --- especially at night, the place simply rocks with all the lighting they have. I'll try to go back on a lunch date, so that I can also see the place in the morning (I'm sure it is lovely, anyway!). Dearest readers, may I present to you Patio Vera.

Overhead lamp for those of us who prefer to dine outside under big umbrellas and on cozy couches :-)

I love tripods... Hehe!

The dining area near the bar and counter

 Outdoor dining

 Corridor

You can also dine on this comfortable and colorful couch

The empty couch you see was our date booth for the night, hehe!

Now, let's check out more photos of Patio Vera:

 I love this area :-)

Dine with big wheels mounted on the walls. Cute!

Perfect place to dine in groups

Really love the furnishings of Patio Vera!

 Lamp <3

Indoor dining

After going around a bit, our food arrived. Off to the table we rushed once more...

Complimentary bread sticks (triangles?) with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Yum.

Bottomless Iced Tea

Paella con Carne (445 PhP - good for sharing, 2-4 persons). This was the only thing we ordered since we were only a couple sharing this hearty meal!

Tres Leches Cake (165 PhP) - We love this!!!

Crispy Churros con Chocolate (115 PhP)

Our bill came in this lovely shoe :-)

Visit Patio Vera for another awesome dining experience in Marikina City! :-)

    1. hello there! the best way I know (readers, any suggestions?) to get to Patio Vera from Libis is to get to Riverbanks center (I think this is only possible by cab?) and from there take the Calumpang jeep. If you are driving or taking the cab all the way, get to Riverbanks and follow the Calumpang jeep route.

You will pass by the river bridge, then the san roque church, the shoe museum and the puto capital... you will then reach a curve and you should see China Trust before the jeep (or your car) follows the whole road curve to turn right. Just go straight. Ask the jeepney driver to drop you off Gen. F. Santos Street, you can walk from there. If you have a car, just go straight into the small street, which is Gen. F. Santos, do not follow the Calumpang jeep anymore as it will turn left.

On the street, PATIO VERA is to your left. You can also ask the people there, as the joint is quite popular :-)

Let me know if you have other questions! Thanks so much for dropping by! :-)

    1. Hello there! Are you commuting? Where are you coming from?

Let's say you are coming from Katipunan. Take the Calumpang Jeep (or, if you have a car, follow the Calumpang route jeep) and you will eventually reach the Marikina River Bridge. The Calumpang jeep turns right and goes straight. The road will get curvy when you pass by the church. Keep you eyes to your right and if you see China Trust, the jeep will turn right. Straight goes the jeepney, but it will turn left at the end of the road. Get off the jeepney at that point because then you'll be at Gen F Santos, where Patio Vera is. Just walk straight into the street (or, if you have a car, drive into the small street) and you'll see Patio Vera to your left. :-) Don't worry about parking, they have a designated parking lot about 10 meters from the place ;-)

  11. Worst service ever:
Went there with my family because my mother in law learned fro Kris Aquino's show that its a good place... arrived ther , the place was nice. got a table for 7 and ordered. asked the waitress for the list of drinks and she said that shell be back with it. after 30 mins of waiting I went to thei bar and ask to for someone to take our drinks order and they said that they'll follow me. after another 15 mins the waitress came back to tell us that two of what we ordered is not available. Imagine that after 45 mins without nothing to drink at all even water they'll tell you that what you've ordered is not available! So no choice but to have it replaced by different food which unfortunately most on the menu are not available. after an hour and 15 mis watiting ...at last food has arrived. they just served it on the table without no plates, glasses or spoon and fork on the table. went to their front desk again to have a complaint and again after 15 mins here comes the plates and spoon / fork , still waiting for the drinks list, no rice still, food were almost finished. again went to them , ordered some drinks which after a few mins. informed us that unavailable but istead brought us iced tea with out asking us if we even want it. Got really sick of them so I told them to have undelivered food as take out.
I went there really looking forward to enjoy eating instead got angry and was not able to eat at all. I was very ebarassed to my family for bringing them there.
Giving us discount will not make us happy. This restaurant is the worst ever.

    1. hi Yana! thanks so much for your message, and congratulations in advance!
I would say, call Patio Vera at least two weeks before to check seat availabilities, specially if you're going on a weekend just to be sure. For two persons, you can order two dishes only, as their servings are big and are good for sharing. I recommend the Menudo, and the Salpicao burger. If your order Paella, just order that (unless you want to try another dish), because the Paella is so rich you don't need to have anything else (well, maybe a glass of wine). Then add dessert (The tres leches is really good!). You can also check their FB page from time to time, they have promos for groups, or even for two persons, you can save much more ;-) hope you have a great time at Patio Vera!! Thanks again for dropping by!
